Aabar Properties LLC was established in 2010 and is under the umbrella of Aabar Investments PJS, previously owned by the International Petroleum Company that was established by the government of Abu Dhabi. The primary company specializes in construction as well as investment management within the real estate sector and prides itself on its quality, which can be seen in its developments. Later in 2016, it was acquired by Mubadala Investment due to restructuring.

Aabar Properties is a leader in commercial and residential developments. One of their most popular projects is Bay Tower; a 46 storey residential building with two to five bedroom apartments located on Corniche street with sea views near Marina Mall. The residential tower has a total of 136 units with allocated parking, a swimming pool, a kid’s play area and other communal facilities. The building has all the necessary amenities such as schools, a nursery and hospitals nearby. Rental prices start from USD 28,500 a year.

Another equally popular apartment complex is Al Durrah Tower. The development showcases two buildings with 42 floors each and a total number of 202 one to four-bedroom apartments and penthouses and is part of Marina Square on Al Reem Island. Al Durrah Towers has marina bay views from one corner and community development views from another. The residential complex has parking and a swimming pool as well as restaurants and hotels located nearby. Prices start from USD 27,000 a year.

Lamar Residence is the first waterfront living development at Al Seef Precinct on Al Raha Beach. It consists of 440 properties in total, with one to four-bedroom apartments, two to four-bedroom townhouses and five retail outlets.

The Kite is a residential development with 29 floors and 126 apartments of two and three bedrooms. Exclusive four-bedroom units and penthouses are also available in the complex which is located on Al Reem Island.

Since its establishment, Aabar Properties have developed more than 6,000 units in Abu Dhabi. One of the company’s main focuses at the moment is on Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030, in which the main areas of development construction works are Al Raha Beach, Al Reem Island, Rawdhat and Saraya. Residential projects such as The Wave and Al Durrah Tower were among the first to be completed in 2013 and 2014 and both projects are located on Al Reem Island.

Lamar Residences was completed in October 2017 and is also located on Al Raha Beach. Developments in Rawdhat and Saraya areas are residential buildings but not as big as previously mentioned. One of the latest and most well-known company projects is Bay Tower in Abu Dhabi city which was completed in June 2019.

It is also worth mentioning that Aabar Properties develop commercial establishments as well. The Curve is a building that houses a number of spaces for retail shops and is located in Dubai on the Sheikh Zayed Road. The company is also building commercial projects in such areas as Al Raha and Rawdhat in Abu Dhabi.

In addition to increasing their presence within the UAE, Aabar Properties is expanding outside the UAE too. For instance, there are three committed projects in Tangier, Casablanca and Rabat, all in Morocco, and a five-star hotel in Jordan. The company also aims to have projects in Europe and China as part of their portfolio. The unique feature of Aabar Properties is that they not only focus on residential and commercial complexes but they also create projects through various collaborations and partnerships.
